"When you walk outside, you see your neighbors and everyone is friendly, waves and smiles. People are always out walking, whether walking their dog or walking to dinner or to the farmers market. And if you have kids riding the bus, you become friendly with the parents and kids at the bus stop. With the school system being so small, you’ll be with those kids and parents for the entire school experience.

 

I loved that when the kids were little, we would walk to the farmers' market every Saturday morning and then visit the library books for the week."
